About Me

My story

Hi my name is Wendy Hanlan. I’m a digital marketing specialist based in the Maritimes, Canada.

I work remotely for forward-thinking companies all over the world. I love being mobile and often combine travel with work. When I’m not travelling, I’m a happy local enjoying my community and working from my ocean-front home office.

Wherever I am, communication is my number one priority. I come equipped with all the tools required to keep workflows organized and running smoothly.

Who hires me?

My core skills and experience include project management, customer service, and digital marketing. This combination works well for Digital Marketing Agencies.

I am also ideal for roles related to growth hacking, inbound and content marketing. Currently I’m looking for part-time, full-time, or freelance. Any role that offers a remote option will be considered. Being mobile does allow for short-term onsite needs when required.

Over the past seven years I have been focused on developing my skills in the digital realm:

I have also mastered the essential building blocks for any marketing project:

  • project planning
  • budgeting
  • reporting and analytics
  • proposal writing
  • advertising/promotions
  • copy writing
  • graphic design
  • inbound/outbound sales
  • special events
  • media buying
  • public relations

Fun fact – I have an adventure blog

I’ve visited many amazing places for both work and play and have captured a few outdoor adventures along the way. If you’re interested in following my travels, check out my blog Where I Roam.

SUPER fun fact – I’m an Airbnb Superhost

During tourist season in Nova Scotia I run a sweet little Airbnb on the ocean. This is also my occasional home-base. Check it out and see why I have earned the coveted title of “Superhost”.

Thanks for stopping by my website. Take a few minutes to look around and let me know if you have any questions or just want to say “hi”. To learn more read the top 3 reasons to hire me.
